How to play Highway Hesi

Everything you need for your first run: the controls, how scoring works, the two game modes and a few tips from the fast lane.

How scoring works

1. Pass cars

Every overtake scores. The closer you pass, the more you get: near, close and insane passes.

2. Split the gap

Squeeze between two cars at once for one of the biggest bonuses in the game.

3. Build a combo

Chain passes quickly to grow your combo up to x10. It shrinks if you stop passing.

4. Go fast

Above 70 mph a speed bonus multiplies your points, up to x2.25.

Free drive or ranked?

Free drive

No time limit. When you crash, your score and credits are saved and a fresh run starts right away. Great for practice and for earning credits.

Ranked

A timed 7-minute run. A crash resets your combo but the run keeps going. Your score earns ranked points that move you from Rookie to Street, Pro, Elite and Apex.

Tips for a big score

Stay on the beltway: it has the busiest traffic and the most cars to pass.
Keep your speed above 70 mph so every pass counts for more.
Look for two cars side by side and split the gap between them.
Upgrade handling early. Sharper steering makes close passes much easier.
Collect your daily rewards: just driving for a few minutes pays out credits.

Earning credits

Every run earns credits. On top of that, daily driving goals pay up to 160,000 credits a day, the lucky wheel spins three times a day, and you get 150,000 credits when a friend you invite finishes a run. Spend credits on new cars and upgrades in the garage.
